FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. – The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office criminal investigations division is investigating a Nassau County double shooting, according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said two people were shot around 5:30 a.m. on Nottingham Drive in Fernandina Beach. Both people were taken to the hospital. One died from their injuries.
One person has been detained and investigators are currently conducting interviews to determine what happened, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office said.
Officials said the home is “known to law enforcement.”
