Jacksonville police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another in critical condition.
Officers were called to a shooting on Evergreen Place around 9:30 Monday night. While en route to that scene a second shooting was reported nearby on East 48th Street.
Police believe three men were together for a suspected drug deal near Evergreen Place, off of Buffalo Avenue when one of them pulled out a gun. During a struggle over the gun it fired and two men were shot. One of them died in a car; the other man was found with a gunshot wound to the head a few blocks away on East 48th St, he is in critical condition.
