LAKE CITY, Fla. — A 14-year-old cyclist was critically injured Monday after they were hit by a car in Lake City, according to police.
The teen was taken to a nearby trauma unit.
Lake City Police Department officers arrived at the scene at Northwest Bascom Norris Drive at 5:50 p.m.
They found the teen unconscious from an “apparent head injury.”
The driver was on scene and cooperated fully with investigators.
