CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. – Two parks in Camden County will temporarily close due to repairs, according to the Camden County Facilities Maintenance Department.
According to the county, crews will first be replacing timbers from the parking lot to the first landing on the dock at the Harriett’s Bluff Boat Ramp in central Camden County. This closure will begin Wednesday, Feb. 14, and will last until Wednesday, Feb. 28.
Then, starting March 4, crews will work on roof replacements for the pavilions at Howard Peeples Park. The county said the existing roofing systems will be upgraded to metal.
Visitors to Howard Peeples Park are asked to avoid the pavilions during this time due to the ongoing construction work.
