ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — A six-year-old child was hit by a car and killed in St. Augustine Monday evening.
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident happened at 6:16 p.m. in the area of North Volusia Street and West King Street. The driver left the scene.
The child was rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead.
The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Homicide Investigation.
The suspect vehicle has not been located and there is no description available.
