A soggy start to the weekend

Tonight skies will be dry until rain moves in after 3 am over the western zones. Temps will be milder in the mid 50s.

Rain increases before sunrise with steady rainfall through 8 am in Jacksonville. Rain passes south of our area by 10 am with sun breaks shining through the afternoon.

Rain clears southward by 10 am Saturday.

After the rain tomorrow temperatures will warm into the mid-70s. The gusty SW winds at 20-25 mph will dry us out quickly.

We will have a couple of nights in the 40s with a chillier Sunday staying in the mid 60s during the afternoon and skies will be mostly cloudy.
