Another cold front is on the way with freezing & frosty temperatures, too…

Happy New Year! I hope your resolutions, wishes and more come true in 2024. Clouds are moving in ahead of an approaching cold front. A few light showers will be possible, but the most notable feature of the front will be the colder temperatures. Inland frost possible early Tuesday with freeze and frost expected early Wednesday. Scattered showers with storms will move in late Wednesday night and continue through early Thursday morning as temperatures stay below seasonal levels.

Tuesday: A chilly start with patchy frost across inland areas for SE GA. Mostly clear early then becoming sunny. Morning lows in the 30s to low 40s. Afternoon highs in the low to mid 50s. Wind: N/NE 10-15 mph. Mostly clear with inland freeze, frost overnight.

Hazards: Freezing and frosty temperatures through early Wednesday morning.

Looking ahead: Scattered showers with storms possible late Wednesday through Thursday morning. Another front will approach Saturday with more showers, storms.
