JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As authorities are still trying to find out who was behind the latest mass shooting that unfolded Wednesday at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl Celebration, concerns over gun control and overall public safety have reemerged.
The shooting in Kansas City injured 21 people, including at least eight children, and killed a mother of two, Lopez-Galvan, whose DJ name was “Lisa G,”.
Three people were detained and firearms were recovered during the incident, police said. However, officials have not released information on the people detained as they’re still working on putting the puzzle pieces together.
It is unknown exactly how many people attended the victory parade, but it is estimated it was hundreds of thousands of people of all ages.
