Downdetector.com is showing more than 40,000 reported outages for AT&T customers as of 7 a.m. Thursday.
Several people in the News4JAX newsroom are among those affected.
AT&T’s website does not mention the outage.
DownDetector is also showing spikes in outages for Verizon, T-Mobile and other services, but the total numbers are much lower than AT&T.
The website shows the issues for all the carriers started around 4 a.m. Thursday.
We are working to learn more and find out when services will be restored.
