JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — No injuries were reported when a bus collided with a pickup truck near State Road 134 and Interstate-295.
The crash occurred at 7:18 a.m. Friday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The bus was traveling north in the left inside turn lane of travel on State Road 134, while the truck was traveling north
in the right outside turn lane. Both vehicles were turning left on State Road 134, attempting to merge onto the I-295 northbound entrance ramp. The bus made contact with the rear of the truck, the report said, and came to final rest on the left grass shoulder of the Interstate 295.
There were 44 children on board of the school bus and no injuries reported, FHP said.
