JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing woman who was last seen Sunday morning. Carolyn Joy Jacobs, 69, suffers from confusion and is displaying signs of dementia, a JSO news release states. She was last seen by her family at 8 a.m. At 11 a.m. she was seen in St. Johns County by someone who provided her directions back to Jacksonville, the news release states. It is believed she was last seen driving in the Powers Avenue and University Boulevard area, the news release states. She was driving a 2015 white 4-door Toyota Camry bearing Florida tag: JRV-N21. The vehicle has a yellow magnet on the hood reading “Support our troops,” a memorial sticker on the rear window, and UGA Bulldogs license plate frame.

Jacobs is 4’10”, 140 pounds, with brown eyes, and salt & pepper hair, and was wearing a light blue jacket, blue jeans, and a baseball cap. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to 911 or 904-630-0500.
