MIDDLEBURG, Fla. — The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of 4100 Old Jennings Road responding to an “armed suicidal subject,” according to police.
Residents in the area are asked to remain inside their homes.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area. The road is blocked past Old Jennings Road and Long Bay Road.
The CCSO asks that drivers who are in the area park and remain with their vehicle at the Calvary Baptist Church, or at the parking lot at the Tynes Elementary School.
