A chilly and cloudy night on tap. Clouds will increase from the northwest tonight through Friday. A few coastal showers will be possible as the onshore flow from the east, southeast allows moisture levels to increase for isolated to scattered coastal showers that will move onshore south of Jacksonville.
Temperatures will be chilly tonight with near seasonal highs tomorrow and a little above average this weekend. Saturday will be warm and dry with cloudy skies and showers developing late Christmas eve. Scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms expected Christmas day.

Friday: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with near seasonal temperatures. A few coastal showers will be possible along the beaches from mainly St. Johns County and south, 10-20 percent. Morning lows in the 40s to low 50s for SE GA, 40s and 50s for NE FL. Afternoon highs in the low to mid 60s for SE GA, upper 60s to low 70s for NE FL. Cloudy skies continue overnight.
Hazards: Minor to moderate flooding continues along portions of the St. Marys and Santa Fe Rivers. Rip Currents. Christmas Day travel will include rain and storms.
