The Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department confirmed that one person was killed in the crash and one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The mail truck was on its side at the scene. It was towed away at 5 p.m.
The crash caused traffic congestion around the area.
It is unknown when the scene will reopen.
