JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Friendship Fountain is coming back for a long awaited opening after recent tests.
On Feb. 15, Friendship Fountain will reopen in time for Sip & Stroll.
The project was heavily impacted by the pandemic. The city targeted May last year for the opening and it was later pushed to the summer, according to a city representative.
But the opening didn’t materialize.
The improvements include a new audio system, sidewalk, lighting, and splashpad.
