JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Duval County School Board is letting parents and guardians know to expect bus delays on Thursday, Dec. 21.
The school board said there will be widespread delays on Thursday because of an “abnormally high number” of anticipated bus driver absences, which could impact morning and afternoon transportation.
The school board ensures that students are safe and supervised despite how late the bus arrives.
DCPS urges parents to change transportation arrangements if possible. Be sure to contact the school’s office to let them know about the change.
