ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – An 88-year-old died Saturday evening following a crash on U.S. 441 and County Road 237, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Around 6:57 p.m., the driver of a sedan was heading south on CR 237 when she tried to cross the northbound lanes of U.S. 441.
She ended up colliding with a pickup truck.
The sedan driver died at the scene.
The truck driver only received minor injuries.
