Hope you’re enjoying the beautiful Sunday afternoon! Storms are on the way…

A low pressure system is moving in from the panhandle and will bring the potential for strong and possibly severe storms, particularly for areas south of I-10 through midnight.

We’re carefully watching for the threat of strong or locally damaging winds. The storms will quickly move out leaving rain amounts less than an inch.

A second wave of showers and isolated storms are likely overnight into Monday morning as the cold front from the northwest moves through our region. Rain will stay with us throughout the morning.

Highs on Monday will be in the low 70s once the rain ends, breezy conditions with possible gusts in the teens.

Clearing skies will allow cooler temperatures to drop in for the first day of Spring on Tuesday. SE Georgia will see morning temperatures in the upper 30s, NE Florida in the lower 40s. Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 60s.
