Is there a bomb threat at the Duval County court Wednesday?

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office tells First Coast News that it was investigating an incident, as no further information was provided.

DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — Editor’s note: First Coast News has requested police reports for more information surrounding the incident. This is a developing story.

An “all clear” was given Wednesday morning after a bomb threat was reported at the Duval County court, Judge Salvador announced in the courtroom she presided over.

During the bomb threat, the courthouse did not allow anyone to enter or leave.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office tells First Coast News that it was investigating an incident, as no further information was provided. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department says it was not called to the courthouse.

First Coast News has a crew at the courthouse, located at 501 W. Adams St., and will provide updates if more become available.
