JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Carl Alexander Smith, 34, was booked on Tuesday by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and accused of murder and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.
He is accused of shooting Makensi Baptisme, a 40-year-old man, on Feb. 4 of last year.
JSO officers found Baptisme shot after responding to a report of a single shot fired on University Blvd.
