The Jacksonville City Council’s Special Committee on Homelessness and Affordable Housing was announced by City Council President Ron Salem in October 2023. They held their first meeting Monday, November 20 at noon.

Joe Carlucci is the committee’s chairperson. They have a goal of creating a plan to implement solutions while also focusing on the costs involved.
