
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is dead Tuesday after an argument led to a shooting in the Arlington neighborhood, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JSO said just before 3 p.m., a man was found shot in the chest outside a home on Cesery Boulevard near Terry Parker Drive.
The investigation revealed that the shooting stemmed from an argument that took place at a nearby location, which spilled over to the scene of the incident. It’s unclear what sparked the argument.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police believe this was an isolated situation and there is no threat to the community.
A person of interest is in custody.
