JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 56-year-old man was killed in a traffic crash on Beach Boulevard Saturday morning.
The crash occurred at approximately 9 a.m. after the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the victim was heading eastbound in the 10100 block of Beach Boulevard when his vehicle left the roadway.
The vehicle overturned into a ditch on the south side of the roadway, police said. Jacksonville Fire Rescue took the driver to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Traffic was not affected because the crash scene is off the roadway, police said.
According to JSO, this is the 50th traffic fatality in Duval County in 2024. Beach Blvd.
