
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The city of Jacksonville recognized Sexual Assault Awareness Month during a news conference on Tuesday.
The gathering is designed to support survivors and take a stand against sexual violence, according to a release from the city.
Mayor Donna Deegan, City Councilman Jimmy Peluso, State Attorney Melissa Nelson and Sheriff T.K. Waters spoke at the event.
