You can nominate a deserving person in your life for the 2024 12 Who Care service awards. Click here to learn how.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — For more than three decades First Coast News On Your Side has awarded hundreds of service awards to those who quietly walk as angels among us. The search for the volunteer who goes above and beyond because they are ‘called’ to service continues. The First Coast News 12 Who Care Awards nomination process is now underway. Do you know someone who deserves recognition? If so, take a moment to nominate them and share examples about how they have helped a neighbor or their community in need.
In early spring, a group of internal First Coast News On Your Side judges will select 25 individuals from all nominations. Next, a group of external community judges will select the 12 Who Care award winners. First Coast News On Your Side will create a profile report about each winner that will air on First Coast News this Fall. These reports will be part of the special production, The 12 Who Care Service Awards Show. During the show each winner will receive a trophy, dinner with guest and the opportunity to meet other inspiring volunteers and community leaders. Please consider taking the time to nominate someone you know.
Submit a nomination now for someone who is making a difference in our community. The deadline to nominate a deserving individual is April 1, 2024.
