The curtain rises on the show on Saturday, December 2nd.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Christmas Spectacular is an evening of holiday entertainment with three unique, magical stories told in one night!
Created by writer, producer and director Jason Woods, the show features hilarious characters, heartwarming stories and holiday surprises, including a special appearance by the Jacksonville Jaguars Drumline for some festive, percussive fun! And for opening night, Mayor Donna Deegan will be the guest emcee.
Woods joined Good Morning Jacksonville on Saturday to preview the show and give viewers a taste of what they can expect when they go to the historic Ritz Theatre for the performance!
“It’s a thrill, there’s so much community involvement,” said Woods. “I don’t think people are prepared to come to one show and see three stories in one night, plus all of the surprises we have waiting on them.”
“I’ve got a tremendous cast that’s up to the challenge,” Woods told First Coast News. “There’s 22 unique characters in this that are all magical and fantastical.”
The Jacksonville Christmas Spectacular will take place Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
