A sliver of moon is showing over the River City as a few light showers continue for Clay and St. Johns counties. Clearing skies and a quiet night on tap before showers and storms return Friday morning.
The first round will push through SE GA after the morning rush, around 9 a.m., with the second round developing during the afternoon hours for NE FL around 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
After record highs in Jacksonville and severe storms, it’s time for a quieter and cooler evening. Seasonal temperatures and sunny skies this weekend for Mom.
So you are saying there is a chance… Another round of rain with storms will build across SE GA around 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The next round will develop during the afternoon and early evening over northeast Florida, 80 percent. Strong to isolated severe storms will be possible with gusty wind, hail and isolated storms possible of producing a tornado.
Storms will end at around 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. followed by a cooler weekend.
