Sunny, a little cool for this time of year

Was it a little too cool for Open Window Weather? For some space heaters may still be humming in the background since our highs under these sunny skies were shy of seasonal levels.

After freezing and frosty temperatures started the day, sunny skies made for a nice afternoon, albeit a little cool for this time of year.

Morning lows were 36 degrees and so far our highs have only hit the mid 60s.

Seasonal averages this time of year are around 47 degrees and afternoon highs have moved into the low 70s. By the way, the record high for today was 86 set back in 1961 and the low was a frigid 24 degrees set in 2015.

Near seasonal temperatures with scattered showers and storms will be here Friday. Upper 60s to low 70s and breezy this weekend.
