The Christmas Day forecast will not help me get on the ‘Nice List’ 👀

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Friday features partly cloudy skies as a few showers continue for St. Johns, Flagler, Clay and Putnam Counties. These will dissipate through the night.

We have a warm weekend on tap under partly cloudy skies on Saturday with increasing clouds on Sunday.

Models have backed off on rain for Christmas Eve and put it all on Christmas Day and Tuesday.

Now: Cloudy to partly cloudy and mild

Tonight: Partly cloudy, cool

Saturday: Partly cloudy with above-seasonal temperatures. A few coastal showers will remain possible along the beaches from mainly St. Johns County and south, 10 percent. Morning lows are in the 40s to low 50s for SE GA, 50s to near 60 for NE FL. Afternoon highs in the low to mid-60s to the low 70s. Partly cloudy overnight.

Christmas Eve: Becoming cloudy. Lows in the 50s and 60s. Highs in the upper 60s to 70s. A slight chance of showers after 10 p.m.

Christmas Day: Rounds of rain under cloudy skies with warmer-than-average afternoon highs. Showers through sunrise then turning to rain through early Tuesday morning, 60-70 percent. Lows in the 50s and 60s. Highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Rain chances continue overnight.

Hazards: Minor to moderate flooding continues along portions of the St. Marys and Santa Fe Rivers. Rip Currents through the weekend. Christmas Day travel will include rain and storms.

Looking ahead: Rain through early Tuesday followed by scattered showers. Cooler and drier weather returns late next week.
