Tornado Watch issued for Southeast Georgia through 2 p.m.

It’s a Weather Authority Impact Day. A Tornado Watch has been issued for southeast Georgia. This includes all counties with our forecast circle. The watch will continue through 2 p.m. The focus for severe weather will be mainly north of I-10 and across all of southeast Georgia. Strong to severe storms with damaging wind, hail and tornadoes will be possible as the cold front moves through.

Now: Cloudy. Rain to our north, moving into SE GA late morning.

Today: Rain with thunderstorms. The front will weaken as it moves south, with areas of rain and thunderstorms through 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Today: Rain with storms arrives in Georgia during the late morning. The front will cross the state line after the lunch hour, spreading across northeast Florida from around noon to 1 p.m. These will continue through 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Sunday: Clearing, cooling and clocks. Don’t forget to spring forward. Spring-like weather returns. The day will start with temperatures in the 50s followed by afternoon highs in the 60s to low 70s. The northwest will blow at around 10-15 mph.

Pollen: High – Trees (Pine, Juniper, Oak) Low – Grasses.
