Troopers investigating 2 separate fatal crashes on I-75 in Hamilton County

HAMILTON COUNTY, Fla. – Lake City troopers and Traffic Homicide investigators are working on two separate fatal crashes in Hamilton County on Interstate 75 that happened Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Officials said southbound I-75 was shut down early Saturday and has since reopened.

Meanwhile, northbound traffic is being diverted off onto I-10 in Columbia County.

I-75 northbound will remain closed as FHP investigators conduct their work.

Officials said they will release more information on both fatal crashes at a later time.
