After a couple of chilly mornings, temperatures will rebound into the weekend and Christmas day, but wait there’s more…
In the classic holiday song, the dreams were of a white Christmas, not a wet one. Rain chances will begin to develop on Christmas Eve and continue through Christmas Day with temperatures returning to above seasonal levels.
Temperatures will be a little warmer under partly cloudy skies through Saturday. Although there will still be long lines and crowds, shoppers will have pleasant weather to find the perfect last-minute gifts.

Rain chances return Sunday into Monday as the next system approaches from the west. Expect areas of rain under cloudy skies going into Christmas day with mild temperatures.
Tuesday, a squall line will push in from the west bringing isolated thunderstorms. This system is not as strong as the most recent system, but cooler temperatures and instability could lead to a few strong storms. The rain comes to an end Tuesday night, early Wednesday morning with a return to cooler and drier conditions.
