JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two Interstate 95 southbound lanes are currently closed in St. Johns County Wednesday morning due to a multi-vehicle crash with injuries, according to the Florida Department of Transportation and St. Johns County Fire Rescue.
SJCFR says they have taken two people to a local hospital with injuries, one of which was life flighted.
Drivers are experiencing heavy traffic near State Road 16, both in the northbound and southbound lanes on I-95. An alternate route for beating traffic would be to take US-1.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, according to SJCFR.
