JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says County Road 217 near the 9000 block will be closed for an “indefinite” time due to a police investigation. JSO did not provide further details, as drivers should avoid the area and seek alternative routes if possible.
The Clay County District Schools Police Department posted on Facebook that police activity near County Road 217 and Clay Hill Elementary School “has been resolved, with roadways cleared shortly.” The post also states that today’s school schedule will remain normal and a “robo” call from the school’s principal is forthcoming.
