JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — This is a developing story.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department says they have taken two people to a local hospital with serious injuries Saturday morning following an incident that took place in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville.
A neighbor in the area of Lippizan Drive told First Coast News that they heard gunshots around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday; this information has not been confirmed by police.
JFRD and a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Crime Unit is at the scene where they are surrounding a black SUV on a dirt road. No other cars are seen to have been involved at the scene. Firefighters are currently talking with two women.
