Why is there traffic on I-95 near IGP in St. Johns County Friday?

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla — All Interstate 95 northbound lanes are currently closed near mile marker 321 in St. Johns County Friday morning due to a “major” crash, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Although the crash happened on I-95 North, southbound traffic is being affected, as vehicles are backed up past International Golf Parkway. On the northbound side, congestion is backed up close to the St. Augustine Premium Outlets.

Drivers should use caution in the area.
