JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman is dead and three people are critically injured following a head-on collision
A southbound SUV moved into the northbound lane and collided with an SUV heading north. Both vehicles had a driver and one passenger. All four people were taken to the hospital and the driver of the SUV in the southbound lane, a woman in her mid-40s, was pronounced dead.
JSO did not have information on the other three occupants.
The crash occurred at about 6:35 p.m. at the 7200 block of Old Middleburg Road, police said. The road was closed for a couple hours after the crash.
Crews are working a traffic accident at Old Middleburg road and Hipps road involving multiple vehicles and multiple patients…one of the patients is critical at this time…avoid the area. @JSOPIO @FHPJacksonville
