Yanira Cardona’s legacy in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Meet Yanira Cardona, affectionately known as Yaya.

A woman who has become a beacon of empowerment in the heart of Jacksonville. From her role as the Promotions Director at iHeartRadio to now steering her own ship at Yaya Productions, she’s redefining success on her own terms.

Her journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Coming from humble beginnings, Yaya’s tenacity and resilience have made her a symbol of empowerment. Once utilizing Hooked on Phonics and ESL classes, she now stands tall as the “Yellow Pages” of Jacksonville.

“This is not just my story, it’s our story. It’s about overcoming obstacles and uniting our community. I believe in the power of positivity and hard work,” Cardona said.

As the first Hispanic Outreach Representative, Yaya tirelessly works to break down barriers and create bridges of understanding within the diverse Jacksonville community.

“I stand here today because of those who paved the way before me,” Cardona said.
