Yulee High School’s Mr. Wykle awarded FCN’s Teacher of the Week

Mr. Chad Wykle at Yulee High School has been teaching for seven years and counting.

YULEE, Fla. — It’s Thursday, and you know what that means—it’s time to celebrate our Teacher of the Week! First Coast News, On Your Side’s Jasmine Monroe had the pleasure of meeting with Mr. Chad Wykle, an incredible educator at Yulee High School who truly brings the sting.

When it comes to Mr. Wykle, his testament to dedication and hard work is exemplified by fellow Yulee educators. And for the past seven years, Wykle has been a constant presence in classrooms at Yulee High School, never missing a beat and always inspiring his students.

“I love what I do, these kids are amazing,” Wykle told First Coast News.

Teaching AP Government, Wykle instills in his students the importance of respect and civic engagement, fostering an environment where learning thrives.

“He’s a phenomenal teacher. We’re his TAs for first and second period, so we’re with him all day,” one student said. “He’s super cool.”

Despite the surprise recognition, Wykle humbly attributes his success to the unwavering support of his students and colleagues, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.
